SIGPLAN is considering raising the cost of a print subscription to SIGPLAN Notices from $50.00 to $70.00. This is to cover the actual costs of printing and mailing SIGPLAN Notices. The cost of an electronic submission will remain $25.00. Please send any comments to Jack Davidson.

SIGPLAN commissioned the creation of an improved LaTeX class file for preparing conference submissions and papers. The new cls file is here, and a document describing the class file is here.

20 Years of PLDI: A selection of the 50 most influential papers that appeared in the Conference on Programming Language Design and Implementation and it's predecessors from 1979 to 1999. The selected papers will appear in special issue of SIGPLAN Notices.
